Curriculum & Learning
One of the key outcomes of this project is to reduce the number of students at risk of NEET and enable and motivate them to take advantage of Post 16 learning and/or employment opportunities.
In preparing students for college or adult life we offer VRQ’s (Vocational Related Qualifications) and WBL (Work-based Learning) opportunities.Through appropriate placements supported by an Employability and Key Skills Curriculum, we provide opportunities, which fit each student’s needs and preferences.
Students are encouraged to achieve their potential and attain nationally recognised qualifications.Enrichment options offered as short courses to address personal interest will include graphic design & art, digital multimedia, fishing, motor sport, sport and physical activities.
Other activities offered include group work sessions covering general life skills, sex and relationship education, substance misuse, etc.
