Vision & Mission
Vision – To be a leading provider of flexible work related learning opportunities for young people aged 14 –16.
Mission – To provide flexible work related learning through:
- establishing a learning environment where staff and learners can be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution, and achieve economic well-being
- re-engaging disaffected learners at risk of permanent exclusion and/or acute disaffection by using a caring and flexible approach to learning, behaviour and well-being
- designing and offering a personalised curriculum which is flexible enough to offer a wide variety of activities whilst structured enough to record/collect evidence of learning in all activities to count towards nationally recognised qualifications
- offering modular fulltime and part-time courses.securing work-based learning opportunities for all students on a fulltime Alternative Education programme
- endeavouring to extend the age range catered for from 12 to 25
- supporting every student to secure a post-16 route to employment, training or further education
- providing opportunities for the wider community to access our curriculum raise aspirations, fulfil ambitions or simply to enjoy learning
